I had a chance to talk to one of the vets during my cattle week.
I asked if he find it boring there.
He wasnt a bit.
He likes it quiet. Less people and less crowds.
He wants to buy a land and have some cows.
All i can think of is missing out on all the luxury brands.

Had the most fabulous cattle week.
Love the weather and country side.
Dystocia with a dead calf.
Amputated the head and managed to get the dead calf out.
I am totally out of livejournal.
i think i may give up writing.

In ICU
dog came in because kena run over by a truck.
the dog was lying down in front of the truck wheel when the owner started the engine and drove forward
the truck moved a few inches until a yelp was heard and the owner reversed the truck.
poor dog suffered multiple skin tears and bone and ligament were exposed on its right hind legs
the owner was quite shakened by the incident and was saying he doesnt know how to answer to his wife
the rest of my team mates went to pathology round and i volunteered to stayed on to bandage the dog first.
BIG MISTAKE ... i was bombarded with questions on anaesthesia and many more ...
and pardon me for that hair ... woke up at 450am ... rushed to the hospital

Whenever i walk or pass by that same place.
The place has never evoke any feelings of nostalgia.
But after staying a bit longer at the place recently,
All the good memories of yester years came flowing back.
Having the chance to bump into people i know from long ago.
Having a chat with them and knowing what have happened since.
I like to hear stories from old people.
I like to hear people telling me about their lives and other people lives.
I am happy that so far i have an insight into many things.
Many things that lead me to be proud of.
I feel i wanna live there again.
Just like what someone told me ... its a nice place, with nice people and nice environment.
After all i stayed there for 21 years.
After all her blood runs in me.

Pekin duck is a breed of domesticated duck used primarily for egg and meat production. It was bred from the Mallard in China. In 1873 nine ducks were exported to Long Island, New York in the United States and the animals and their meat are sometimes referred to as "Long Island duckling". It is the most popular commercial duck breed in the United States. Around 95% of duck meat consumed in the United States is Pekin duck.
I think alot of people didnt know Pekin duck is a breed not a dish.
And a Pekin duck came to the clinic that day.

Gilbert broke the news of the star awards nominations to me.
And of cos so happy that Chen Liping is nominated twice in the same category.
